Marine Big 5 Daily Blog 18 February

Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.

Trip Summary 18 February 2023:

We had a partly cloudy day with a light breeze and a variety of wildlife. The tour started off with a sighting of a Bronze whaler shark at Slashfin. At the islands, we first stopped to see the penguins on Dyer Island before visiting the Cape fur seal colony on Geyser Rock. In the deeper waters, we were fortunate to spot a sunfish and a Bryde’s whale. What a great day at sea!
