Guide Summary and Photographs

A rather windy day on the water today, but despite the wind, it was a nice day, with lots of sunshine and minimal cloud cover. We went searching for our Southern Rights in the shallows, their usual hangout, but had no luck there. It looks like they didn’t feel like putting up with the choppy conditions. After scouting for them for a bit more throughout the bay, it became clearer that the Southern Rights had cleared out. We then went looking for a humpback whale that we had seen a couple of days ago, and after some searching found not only one, but two! However, this mother and calf didn’t seem keen on entertaining us, as they moved quite fast past our boat. Regardless, it was a triumphant end to our search, and a great trip was had by all…- Anna WolfsonIMG_1320
