Guide Summary and Photographs

We had another fantastic day out at sea. While heading along the coastline towards Uilenkraalsmond we were cruising through some red tide, which we have since a few days in the bay. After leaving the lagoon at Uilenkraalsmond behind we spotted a few humpback dolphins. They approached our vessel several times before we were heading off again to make our way towards the shark cage diving vessels. Arrived at Slashfin we got to see a four meter Great White shark. The sharks name is Rosie, she is visiting our bay twice a year. After amazing shark activety we were heading to Dyer Island were we spotted a lot of different sea birds. We also visited the famous waters of Shark Alley to see the Cape Fur seals and we were surprised to see the Elephant seal still around. They are massive in comparison to our residential Cape Fur seals. After so much wildlife we were spoiled by some Common dolphins on the way back to the harbour. They were traveling alongside our vessel before we had to say good bye. Arrived back in the harbour everyone was pleased by the marine wildlife we encountered today.
