Guide Summary and Photographs

What a great day! In the morning we headed straight for Pearly Beach, where we found two Southern Right whales. The whales in the Pearly Beach area were quite relaxed, but stayed down for a while before surfacing to take a breath. On this trip we managed to see a shark at our sister company Marine Dynamics as well.

On our second trip we spotted whales in the Uilenkraalsmond area. There were three Southern Right whales displaying mating behaviour. They were super relaxed around our vessel ‘Dream Catcher’.  We were treated to a shark predating on a seal before we reached the shark cage diving vessels. Amazing to see a predation, even the  crew was fascinated by this sighting. We also visited the Cape Fur seal colony on Geyser Rock.
