Guide Summary and Photographs
After two days of no trips due to bad weather we were once blessed again to find some whales.
On both trips we found a Southern Right whale cow and her calf towards Danger Point. They have been super relaxed around our vessel Dream Catcher. Rolling around in the swell and slowly swimming close to a kelp barrier.
On our first trip we spotted five Indian Ocean Humpback dolphins in shallower water close to Uilenkraalsmond before seeing some shark activity at our sister company Marine Dynamics. They offer the Great White shark cage diving all year round and there we got to see a beautiful shark passing their cage.
On both trips we also visited the Dyer Island area, to see the Cape Fur seals on Geyser Rock and have a glimpse of some African penguins on Dyer Island itself. On the second trip we were just as lucky and also spotted the dolphins before heading into the harbour.
What a great day with all Marine Big 5.
