What an amazing day. We had Southern Right whale sightings on all of our trips. After launching we cruised along the beautiful coastline and visited the shark cage diving boat where we saw good shark activity, especially on the last trip. After seeing these amazing top predators we headed further east towards Pearly Beach, to see the Southern Right whales. On all our trips we got to see mothers with their babies.
On all three trips we passed the Cape Fur seal colony on Geyser Rock and tried to see some African penguins on Dyer Island. But only on the last trip we were lucky and spotted some penguins in the water.
On all trips we were looking out for the Indian Ocean humpback dolphins but they only crossed our way on the third trip. They approached our vessel very nicely a few times, so we could have a good look at these rare cetaceans.
