16 August 2016 | Whale Watching Gansbaai

Guide Summary and Photographs

Today we launched from Gansbaai harbor due to a low tide.

It was a great day out out sea with sunny and clear blue skies throughout the day. We spotted Southern Right whales on all of our trips today. It’s amazing to know they are back in our bay now. On the first two trips we had a whale in De Clyde and on the last two we encountered a few Southern rights relaxing in Pearly Beach.

We also had a glimpse of a Great White shark while visiting the shark cage diving boats.
