Guide Summary and Photographs
We had another beautiful day on our whale watching vessel Dream Catcher. Just after leaving the harbour we found some Southern Right whales. We also got to see the little half brindle calf from the last few days which we named Karli. Another calf in the bay was lobtailing and giving us a nice show. After observing him playing we saw some loose pieces of whale skin floating in the water which we picked up so they can be analysed. Around our shark research vessel Lwazi we got to see a Great White shark approaching us while we were having a closer look. Most of the Cape Fur seals were playing in the world famous Shark Alley as it was such a nice day with a lot of sunshine…
