Guide Summary and Photographs

What a whale of a time we had.

In the morning our clients were lucky and got to see a penguin release from the boat. We had three African penguins on board, they have been in rehabilitation at the African Penguin & Seabird Sanctuary (A project of the Dyer Island Conservation Trust) here in Kleinbaai. We did release the penguins close to their home Dyer Island.

On all our trips we had close encounters with two adult Southern Right whales. On the second trip the whales were a bit more active and showing their flukes a few times.

We also had a look at the Cape Fur seals on Geyser Rock as well as a glimpse of the Great White sharks around the shark cage diving vessels.
