Guide Summary and Photographs

Today we had perfect conditions for whale watching. The sea was calm and the sun was shining the whole time. Shortly after launching we crossed a big bird raft with hundreds of Cape cormorants and a few Kelp gulls in between. In the morning we spotted mothers with their calves around Uilenkraalsmond. During the day we found some more Southern Right whales in the Pearly Beach area, were they were busy mating. Some of the Southern Rights we saw today came closer and had a look at our vessel. On our way back towards the harbour we stopped at Geyser Rock to have a look at the friendly Cape Fur seals. Nice day with fascinating animals.
