Guide Summary and Photographs

We had a whale of a time. Today it was very calm, not even a light breeze was blowing. On our first trip we had an close encounter with a mother and her curious calf. Suddenly they approached the vessel to investigate, they were approaching it several times before they moved off peacefully.  All the mothers and calves we saw today were relaxed around our vessel. It is impressive to watch these gentile giants. On Dyer Island we spotted a few little African penguins resting on the Island, further we observed the Cape Fur seals playing in Shark Alley and relaxing on Geyser Rock.
