Daily Trip 21 June 2017

Guide Summary and Photographs

Winter is here, we had some strong westerly wind blowing today. As almost every day we launched from the Kleinbaai harbour and were heading along the coast towards the shark cage diving boat, but we haven’t been lucky this time. We continued our tour and were cruising along a reef system towards Dyer Island and Shark Alley, which is a small channel between Dyer Island and Geyser Rock. We slowly passed Geyser Rock as it is also home to our Cape Fur seals. Busy looking at the thousands of them we spotted a little African penguin in between, standing proud on one of the rocks. Due to the weather we couldn’t go further behind the islands and decided to make our way back into the harbour.
