Throughout the whole day we had amazing encounters with the Southern Right whales. On our way to Pearly Beach we passed our sister company Marine Dynamics to see a Great White shark. Arrived in Pearly Beach we were surrounded by cow-calf pairs. On our first trip for the day we did count 8 pairs, it’s just amazing to have so many whales around. One mother and her calf were curious and approached our vessel several times to have a closer look. It’s just impressive to see them that close, words truly can’t describe the experience today. On the way back we drove passed Dyer Island and Geyser Rock, where we saw the Cape Fur seal. And not to forget about the African penguins we saw swimming close to their home Dyer Island.
