Guide Summary and Photographs
Today we had four trips on our vessel Whale Whisperer. During our first trip the sky was still covered in clouds but it cleared up very quickly.
We encountered Southern Right whales during the whole day. Some of them displayed amazing behaviour like lob tailing, breaching and flipper slapping. We also had some Southern Right whales displaying mating behaviour.
On the first two trips for the day we also got to see Great White sharks but then unfortunately the activity slowed down. It was a lot of fun watching the sharks favourite meal the Cape Fur seals. We were cruising through Shark Alley up and down to take some nice photos and have a closer look at their performance.
All in all we had a fantastic day out at sea, with a lot of great whale sightings.
