Guide Summary and Photographs
After a few days of no trips due to strong winds and big swells, it was great to go to sea. Although a light breeze was blowing over the ocean, we had a great time and very nice sightings. We launched from the Kleinbaai harbour. While cruising along the picturesque coastline we spotted four Indian-Ocean Humpback dolphins. After watching them for a while we moved on towards our sister company Marine Dynamics. There we got to see a small Great White shark passing up and down the cage.
Closer to Dyer Island we could see some African penguins in between all the Cape cormorants. Geyser Rock, home to the Cape Fur seals was quite empty today. A lot of them were playing in the water around the island and some more must have gone hunting for fish. On our way back we spotted another four penguins just outside the harbour in the water.
