Guide Summary and Photographs

We launched in the afternoon for a whale watching from our harbour in Kleinbaai. We were cruising along the coast to Uilenkraalsmond and then Pearly Beach to look out for some whale activity. In the Pearly Beach area we have been looking around but couldn’t get to see any, that’s why we decided to change course to Dyer Island to see the Cape Fur seals before searching for more whales towards Danger Point. After passing the Cape Fur seal colony on Geyser Rock we were heading into deeper water again and were lucky to spot a spot. We got closer to the Humpback whales and were amazed by them lobtailing and breaching out of the water so close by. After watching amazing whale activity we were heading back to port as the wind was slowly picking up.
