We had an epic day aboard our vessel Dream Catcher. The day started with breaching Southern Right whales in Pearly Beach and ended with some more magnificent breaches.

This morning we launched from the Gansbaai harbour due to spring tide. The whales in Pearly Beach were not only breaching in front of our vessel, they also showed us their impressive flukes and some approached us very close.

We had a lot of action around the Dream Catcher. We also saw a few little African penguins on Dyer Island on the way towards the Kleinbaai harbour and most of the Cape Fur seals were out at sea fishing, but there were still a few thousands left to look at. A day could not start and end better then today.
