Guide Summary and Photographs

More whales today and great weather with a flat sea.

Out of the harbour we were heading straight towards Danger Point into deeper water where we spotted some two Humpback whales traveling towards Quin Point. The whales came up to the surface for a few breaths before taking a deeper dive again and being submerged for up to 5 minutes.

Further along the way to spotted a spout of a Bryde’s whale, but could find it again. However we continued our tour towards Geyser Rock to see all the Cape Fur seals. On our way back out of Shark Alley we spotted another spout and finally got to see a Bryde’s whale passing our vessel very close. Cruising back towards Kleinbaai along the coast was a good decision as we managed to see some more Bryde’s whales and a Humpback dolphin close to Uilenkraalsmond.
