Guide Summary and Photographs
We had cloudy skies and a rough sea today, but still we had ae wonderful two trips. Today we headed to Dyer Island first, to see the African penguins. The Cape Fur seals played in the water and were relaxing on Geyser Rock and had the luck to join the company of one African penguin. Another penguin was swimming in Shark Alley happily. After the fantastic time with the seals and penguins we head off to Pearly Beach to see some Southern Right whales. On the way to Pearly Beach a Subantarctic skua was flying right next to the boat and joined us for a while. The whales were being a little shy today but they showed us their wonderful flukes a few times. One whale came close to the boat for one breath, so we could see the beautiful face. On our way back home we quickly stopped at our sister company Marine Dynamics to see some great white sharks. Seeing these whales makes our day a good day!
