Guide Summary and Photographs

What a breathtaking day! In the morning we found four Southern Right whales in Pearly Beach, these four adults were super relaxed around the vessel. They approached us close, it was amazing to see them so close especially with that visibility from today. And during the trip we saw something going on a bit further off, so were heading towards the action. It was a Cape Fur seal busy feeding on a ray, which we found interesting as it is not their main food diet. The second trip of the day was as special as the first one. We spotted three Southern Right whales right in front of the harbour. After looking at the Cape Fur seals we drove into deeper waters and got rewarded for that. We did spot there a Bryde’s whale and a raft of 20 African penguins on the way back home.
