Guide Summary and Photographs

We launched into a perfect flat sea touching beautiful blue sky. Very hard to believe a storm is forecasted for our coastline tomorrow and Thursday.

After launching we were cruising along the coast passed Uilenkraalsmond towards the shallows, where we stopped at Slashfin, our sister company. Unfortunatly we haven’t been very lucky today with our shark sightings, so we continued to find some more wildlife activity. On Dyer Island we pointed out the African penguins and were heading towards Shark Alley for the Cape Fur seals. We passed the colony twice to have a closer look. Interestingly lots of the seals were playing in the waters of Shark Alley.

Further behind the island we were fortunate to find a Bryde’s whale. It has playing a bit hide and seek with us but towards the end we had a great view of the 40 ton animal.
