Guide Summary and Photographs
After a no sea day yesterday it was great to be back on the boat and we had a fabulous time on Dream Catcher, the sun was shining and the Southern Right whales were up and ready for action. Within 20mins of leaving the harbour we came across a pair of southern right whales, the whales were very relaxed and chilled along the surface. During the trip we headed towards Dyer Island and spotted a few different types of sea birds, one was a Black oystercatcher and the other an egret. We also stopped by Geyser Rock and most of the Cape Fur seals were playing and swimming around shark alley, while heading to Geyser Rock we came across a pair of African penguins and stopped by our sister company Marine Dynamics who offer the shark cage diving and showed the clients a Great White shark. All in all 4 out of the Marine big 5 was pretty cool.
