Guide Summary and Photographs
What a nice surprise after leaving the Gansbaai harbour this morning. Shortly after launching the harbour a small school of Common dolphins crossed our way, they followed us for a while. Some of them had fun bow riding. Around Danger Point we were heading towards Dyer Island and Geyser Rock. There we had a closer look at the African Penguins and Cape Fur seals. Today we had many mothers with their calves in the Pearly Beach area. We saw some familiar calves with their mothers, the brindle calf from a few days ago was quite active today. One of the Southern Right whales had a closer look at our vessel, while approaching us peacefully. In the shallows we stopped at the shark cage diving vessels to see the impressive Great White sharks. What an amazing day with all Marine Big 5!
