Whale Watching

Guide Summary and Photographs

Every year hundreds of Southern Right Whales come to the South African coast to mate and calve. Tourists come from around the world to watch these amazing creatures from just a few meters away. But South Africans often take the country’s natural wonders for granted. We wanted to remind South Africans just how lucky they are to have whales on their doorstep.

Take a sho’t left and explore the Cape Whale Coast this year.

Book a boat trip with Dyer Island Cruises for a really special experience with the whales.

Visit the Dyer Island Conservation Trust at the Hermanus Whale Festival eco tent, 30 September – 02 October 2016.

Proudly sponsored by Volkswagen.
