Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa – Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.

Trip Summary 03 December 2025:

Another glorious day well spent. Our guests have been lucky these past few weeks with outstanding sightings of the amazing Southern right whales cruising in the calm, pearly-beach waters. With a pair of gentle giants still enjoying our waters, we got the opportunity to see them flipper slapping, rolling, and even breaching. It was an amazing sight that will always be remembered. A few stops were made near the shark diving vessels, where we gave our guests a good look at the most misunderstood creatures, the Bronze whaler sharks. Near Dyer Island, the African penguins were seen hiding in between the boulders, and the Cape fur seals gave us a warm welcome in Shark Alley.
