Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 27 September 2024:
We are heading into another beautiful day out at sea. Numerous sightings were waiting ahead of us out in the bay. Welcoming our guests aboard we left Kleinbaai Harbour behind us excited about what might be out there today. Thousands of Cape fur seals, African Penguins, sharks and whales made the trips a real success. Southern Right whales could be seen around our bay popping up at different spots. The active Bronze whaler sharks were investigating the divers in the cage at the local Shark cage diving companies including Marine Dynamics Shark cage diving vessel Slashfin. Guests were in awe entering Shark Alley greeted by thousands of Cape fur seals either jumping around within the alley or vocalizing on Geyser Rock. Some of the endangered African Penguins could also be seen on top of Dyer Island sitting on top of the island or waddling around on the beach close to shore. Once again, thanks everyone for joining our Marine Big 5 trips. Stay tuned for our next adventures coming up next week!
