Southern right whales! Marine Big 5 Daily Blog

After two no sea days we were finally back on the water and had fantastic sightings throughout the day on the three trips. We saw whales close to Uilenkraalsmond and the Pearly Beach area. Most calves we encountered are really getting big and strong for their migration to the feeding grounds. One calf breached close by on the last trip so we could get a good look. We also did see the bronze whaler sharks by Slashfin and plenty of Cape fur seals at Geyser Rock. The penguins were also easy to spot on Dyer Island and at sea.
