Guide Summary and Photographs
We found a small mating group just behind Geyser Rock who were being very “active” all day long, guess we should have marked our trips as rated “R” today! We thought the mating season had pretty much come to end for this year, so we were very excited to find this group consisting of 3 males and one very large female who had a beautiful speckled belly. It was typical mating behaviour with the group switching between rolling around and dispersing to take a break before picking up the action again, making for a fantastic show! The water was crystal clear when we moved into Shark Alley, the perfect conditions to watch all the seals darting through the water by Geyser Rock. All in all a great day…
