Guide Summary and Photographs
We were in the right place at the right time for our trip today, managing to sight the full Marine Big 5! The marine life around us was incredible, I don’t know if we were more impressed with the large pod of Bottlenose dolphins we found feeding in the kelp forests or the Southern Right whales that were breaching right beside our boat! Of course, we couldn’t forget about the Cape Fur seals and African penguin colonies on Geyser Rock and Dyer Island before searching for the apex predator, the Great White shark, at the cage diving boats. Even the birds were giving us a show today, spotting two Giant petrels and many Sub-Antarctic skuas flying with the boat. Could not have asked for better way to start off the week…
