A warm sun and calm seas made for the perfect whale watching conditions today!  On our first trip we had a very friendly whale who kept swimming circles around our boat and playing with loose kelp.  We were very fortunate on the last trip to witness the little calf we know as “Spotty” learning to breach.  It was the first time in the four months that we’ve been seeing “Spotty” that we saw him breach and it won’t be easily forgotten as he breached AT LEAST 10 times for us! It’s always special when we get to watch the calves learning…
