Guide Summary and Photographs
The day started with a breach and finished with a double breach, having a few seals and penguins in between! The trips kicked off with a calf breaching twice and then being a real show off and giving us his growing fluke. We got a fantastic view of the sheer size of these amazing animals when one mother-calf pair swam towards our boat and relaxed at the surface directly beside us for quite some time. The seals were being very active, swimming around Geyser rock today and the penguins were waiting all lined up for us at Dyer Island. Just when we thought we’d had a good day the whales took it a step further with a mother-calf pair breaching simultaneously three times in a row! Wonder what the show will be tomorrow…
