Guide Summary and Photographs

Despite the choppy water, due to strong winds, we had an awesome trip out with the whales! As we arrived at Pearly Beach we spotted altogether three mother-calf pairs of Southern Right whales. It was amazing to see one mother with two calves by her side, and we had a perfect view as another mother-calf pair approached the boat.  Over at Geyser rock we got to watch the Cape Fur seals playing in the water and relaxing on the rocks.  African penguin sightings on Dyer Island and a Great White shark spotting at the cage diving boats was a perfect way to finish the trip… – Yvonne Nuessing (Marine Volunteer)
