Being able to be 2 meters away from a Southern Right Whale, as it dove underneath our boat, showed the innocent curiosity it has towards humans. The Whale Whisperer gave me the chance to view these wonderful creatures up close and personal as this Southern Right whale calf swam directly towards us. This incredible encounter was one of two mother-calf pairs that we managed to spot in Pearly Beach today.
