Guide Summary and Photographs

Today was overcast and we experienced some light winds, but it definitely didn’t affect our sightings. Just outside the Kleinbaai harbour we headed in the direction towards Danger Point. On the way we spotted a blow, we stopped and got to see a Bryde’s whale. They are the shyest species of baleen whales we have here in this area, but this one was super relaxed around our vessel.

After spending some time around the whale we we moved in the direction of Shark Alley to see the Cape Fur seals on Geyser Rock. On the way we spotted a raft of about 10 African penguins. On our way home we also stopped by the shark cage diving vessels and a had a glimpse of a Great White shark.
