Guide Summary and Photographs
We were enjoying the waves close to shore at the Pearly Beach area today as they gave us a fantastic view of the mother-calf Southern Right whales playing in the swells. We saw four different pairs today, who were easily seen as the swells broke over them, giving us great sightings of almost the entire whale, tip to tip. The Cape Fur seals, Great White sharks and a Humpback dolphin meant we managed to spot four of the Marine Big 5, making for a pretty awesome day… – Stephen Bolton (Marine Volunteer)
