Amazing experience out at sea...

Guide Summary and Photographs
Today the sun was shining again for us. Even a little wind was blowing over the bay we had an amazing trip out at sea. Mother nature definitely spoiled us. Once again we were heading towards Danger Point where we got to see a Southern Right whale traveling along side our vessel ‘Whale Whisperer’. After spending some time with this gentile giant we were slowly heading towards Dyer Island. Halfway there we spotted another blow, but this time it was a Bryde’s whale. And words truly can’t describe what we experienced. Normally this species of baleen whale is shy and they avoid boats, but this one approached our vessel and was literally bow riding. Just amazing! The crew spends a lot of time out at sea, but we have never seen such a friendly Bryde’s whale before in the bay. The Bryde’s whale came up right next to our vessel so you could clearly see the three ridges on top of its rostrum which is very distinct for that species. After such an amazing encounter everyone was speechless about the close up experience with these beautiful animals and we were heading towards the island again. Arrived there we had a closer look at the Cape Fur seals on Geyser Rock. Today was definitely a special trip for the clients and the crew of the ‘Whale Whisperer’.
