Guide Summary and Photographs
You know that it’s going to be a good day when you’re heading out to see the whales and a Great White shark swims in front of the boat! Of course we stopped to observe and were rewarded with a dorsal fin coming up out of the water, just like in the movies. The Southern Right whales did not disappoint either; we spotted a brindle calf with its mother and he was so curious that he came right up to the boat in an attempt to look at us! Needless to say, mum soon called him away after he had his look. Two more Southern Right whale pairs appeared to top off the trips, an amazing day overall… – Laura Stukus (Marine Volunteer)
