Seeing 1 Southern Right whale next to the boat is impressive enough but seeing 13 whales surrounding the boat brings it to a whole new level!  Everyone on the boat today was silent from pure amazement at the sheer number of whales we had all around us!  It was one very large mating group with males coming and going from every direction.  Even as we were entering Shark Alley to view the seals and penguins, two more whales popped up, they were literally everywhere in the bay today.  It was incredible sightings…
