Guide Summary and Photographs
The bumpy ride over to Pearly beach this morning couldn’t have been more worth it, as we were lucky enough to spot lots of Southern Right whales playing with their calves! It was a fantastic sight and truly a touching experience seeing their mother-child bonds right in front of our eyes. From there, we headed over to Geyser rock, where the colony of Cape Fur seals were enjoying the sunshine that had just arrived after an overcast morning. We were also fortunate enough to spot some African penguins swimming along Shark Alley as a Giant petrol flew over our heads. Another great day on Whale Whisperer… – Roxane Kadjar (Marine Volunteer)
