Guide Summary and Photographs
We had flukes and pectoral flippers everywhere today! The calves could not keep their tails in the water, they were lobtailing all day long and rolling around in the swells smacking their little side flippers. “Spotty” gave us a great show today, waving multiple times so that everyone on board could see the cute little indents in both his flippers, including a simultaneous wave from him and his mother together! We also got to see “Spotty” climb on both his mother’s back and then her belly, an adorable sight indeed. Our younger clean calf with the birth pleats was back again and was one of the main participants in all the tail slapping taking place. It was another great show from the calves today…
