The wind was strong and the sun was warm on the way out to Pearly Beach today, making perfect conditions for the Southern Right whales to be playing in the swells.  The strong currents created by the wind are a great way for the mothers to try and strengthen their calves’ muscles in these last few weeks before their long migration.  It was the Bottlenose dolphins who really dominated the trips today however, with many active young ones amongst the pod!  We really have been lucky with all the dolphin sightings lately! Let’s hope they keep spoiling us…
