Guide Summary and Photographs
Today was a phenomenal day to be out at sea, during the trip we were waiting awhile for the whales to show and then we spotted a blow from the surface and it was a humpback whale. This humpback whale was constantly breaching out of the water and laid on its back lifting up both fins and clapping. This whale was full of energy, everyone was so excited especially when the whale went back under showing its tale and everyone was waiting for the next breach. Words cannot describe how incredible and lucky we all were to see this. After spending some time with the whales and watching them spy hop plus lift the kelp out of the sea we headed towards Dyer Island and Geyser Rock and checked out the cape fur seals, during the trip we were also able to spot 2 African Penguins in the ocean and a Shy Albatross flying over our boat Dream Catcher. Today’s trip will be something that I’ll never forget and will always cherish.
