Common Dolphins! Marine Big 5 Daily Blog 30 April
Written by April 30 2022

Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 30 April 2022:
With a little swell, we went out searching for the Marine Big 5 this morning and were lucky to have sighted a few different bird species, our first being a raft of endangered African penguins. We had a beautiful trip around the bay, filled with amazing pelagic bird sightings including a Shy Albatross! Our trip led us to Geyser rock where we were able to see the Cape Fur Seals having a great time in Shark Alley. As we were headed out of the alley, we were surprised by a large pod of common dolphins that took our breaths away.
