Written by May 5 2022
Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 05 May 2022:
This morning, through some dense mist, we were fortunate enough to get the opportunity to be part of an African Penguin release. This took place aboard our vessel and we had the privilege to watch as these penguins made their way back into the wild. Our trip took us around the bay towards Dyer Island where we spotted some of the African Penguins on land and then to Geyser rock where we were greeted by our colony of Cape Fur Seals.

With a local population of 60,000, it's no wonder our guests capture so many photographs of these wonderfully playful marine mammals.
