Whale of a time! Marine Big 5 Daily Blog
Written by October 7 2021

We truly had a whale of a time on all three trips, on all three trips we got to see some fascinating whale behaviour and had close encounters. Our day started with whales at De Clyde and more close to Danger Point. On our second tour we were lucky to encounter a female breaching several times close to our boat Dream Catcher. And after a close encounter with some southern right whales in Pearly Beach and a brindle calf we returned to Kleinbaai harbour.
What species did we see today?

With a local population of 60,000, it's no wonder our guests capture so many photographs of these wonderfully playful marine mammals.
