Daily Snaps.

A cute little pup looking at us.

A seal having a stretch.

A quarrel on a piece of wood.

All heading into the water after getting a fright.

A two headed seal?

look at how cute this seal looks taking a nap.

Pups taking a rest.

Look at how sweet these little ones are having a scratch.

Some beautiful penguins on a calm day.

These birds came up nice and close.

A Sunfish travelling through clear water.

Beautiful light on the dorsal fin of a Copper Shark.

Here you can see how the bronzies roll their eyes back when they go in to check something out, to protect their eyes.

Oupa the dolphin close to Dyer Island.

We don’t often find the dolphins by the island, so it is always a treat when one pops up.
What species did we see today?
African Penguin African Penguin
As one of only 17 penguin species left in the world (and the only one on the african continent), the african penguin often breed in offshore colonies, such as Dyer Island.
Cape fur seal Cape fur seal
With a local population of 60,000, it's no wonder our guests capture so many photographs of these wonderfully playful marine mammals.
Indian Ocean Humpback Dolphin Indian Ocean Humpback Dolphin
Humpback dolphins are an endangered species, with small populations living very close to shore, typically in water less than 25m deep and an average home range of 120km. Their proximity to land makes these animals particularly vulnerable to human influence.
