Humpback Whale Magic, Marine Big 5 Daily Blog 4 June
Written by July 4 2022
Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 04 July 2022:
What a beautiful day! Going back out after a few days off the sea was exhilarating. With 4 trips today, we were able to get some amazing looks at the various species around the Dyer Island ecosystem including 4 of the Marine Big 5 and even a glimpse of a Sunfish (Mola Mola) on trip 2. The Humpback Whales were dazzling us with their elegance throughout the day while the Cape fur Seals were ever so entertaining around Geyser Rock. The African Penguins on Dyer Island waddled about in the sun while the sharks at the cage diving vessels kept us on the edge of our seats. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow’s adventure holds.
