Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa – Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 02 October 2025:
Today we could feel the bad weather we had yesterday, some swell was still rolling into the bay and in between rain showers we had some lovely warm sunshine. Not far from Kleinbaai Harbour, we spotted some southern right whales close to the coast. We had some beautiful looks at these ocean giants. We also approached Geyser Rock with its Cape fur seals colony and made brief stop at Dyer Island. Some have also been lucky to spot a few penguins at sea!
