Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 03 May 2022:
Due to spring tide, we launched just after lunchtime into a beautiful calm bay. We passed Danger Point and cruised through deeper waters where we found a couple of diving seabirds as well as some endangered African Penguins. Arrived in Shark Alley we saw plenty of Cape Fur seals in the water and many more on Geyser Rock. After a stop at Dyer Island, we covered some shallow waters and found a big group of cormorants just outside Kleinbaai harbour.
