Marine Big 5 Daily Blog 04 January

Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.

Trip Summary 04 January 2023:

A busy day on the sea with three trips working through the bay on the lookout for some marine wildlife. All three of our trips enjoyed visits to the Cape fur seal colony of Geyser Rock as well as views of the Endangered African penguin along with other birds on Dyer Island. We also made stops in the Shallows to see the Bronze whaler sharks that were around the shark cage diving vessels.
